Inspired by the design of Kew Royal Botanic Gardens (a botanical garden in London) and being realised in 2008. The greenhouse roof system of the Anthurium and Orchid specialist Anthura.

Combining aesthetic with real greenhouse construction materials
Due to a good cooperation with our partner Van der Hoeven, we managed to realise this modern greenhouse complex for the production of young anthurium plants. After many tests and various trial setups, we succeeded in combining the aesthetic wishes of Anthura with real greenhouse construction materials.

The design of the façade created an effective corridor, one that ensures that the indoor climate will not be influenced by the temperature of the gable on sunny days. In the end this appeared to be a desired advantage.

Modern greenhouse roof and gable systems

We are a reliable, innovative and independent partner that understands what is important in the relationship between the greenhouse constructor and grower. At Alcomij we’ve been playing to our strengths since 1969: developing and manufacturing horticulture solutions such as modern aluminium greenhouse roof and gable systems!

The Anthura project proofs that you can achieve stunning roof and gable solutions based on good cooperation, knowledge and many years’ experience.
