Hordijk Holding

Alcomij is part of the Hordijk Holding, a parent organization of mainly industrial companies focused on packaging, logistics products, and construction materials. With over 400 employees, the group achieves an annual turnover of approximately €100 million.

Hordijk started in 1922 as a family business, with wood processing as its core activity. Over the past decades, plastics processing and the production of aluminum and steel have become increasingly important. Today, Hordijk Holding is a leading manufacturer with specialized subsidiaries:

• Thermoformed packaging in two factories in Zaandam
• EPS (Airpop) packaging and insulation products in Delft
• Injection-molded packaging and bottle blowing in Zevenhuizen
• Smart greenhouse systems and logistical cultivation solutions from Alcomij in ’s-Gravenzande

Hordijk Holding is ranked in the MT top-100 of Dutch manufacturing companies. In Germany, Hordijk has a joint sales organization with Miko-Pac from Belgium, called Miko-Hordijk GmbH.
