Delft, 14 October 2025 – The Supervisory Board of the Royal Hordijk Group announces that CEO Rik Hennink will step down from his position effective 31 December 2025. After more than six years of dedicated service, Rik has decided to pursue new challenges.
The Supervisory Board expresses its deep appreciation for Rik’s many contributions to the Group and wishes him every success in the future. Until the end of the year, Rik will continue in his current role as CEO and, together with the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board, ensure a careful and smooth transition of his responsibilities.
In the interest of continuity and in line with the company’s family-owned character, the CEO position will, as of 1 January 2026, be held jointly by Martine Hordijk and Marco Koese.
In connection with this appointment, Martine Hordijk will step down from her role as a member of the Supervisory Board. In the coming months, Martine and Marco will further develop and communicate their plans for the future.
The Supervisory Board expresses its full confidence in the new collegial leadership and wishes Martine and Marco every success in their new roles.
